3-minute-sorbet
grab your trusty blender and pour 1 glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. add some 150 gr. (or 1/4 of your blender) with frozen strawberries. blend. enjoy in any given summer day. i have it in winter as well… and jon loves this sorbet as an afternoon treat.
depending on how you like it, you can add more juice. you be the judge.
substitute the orange juice with any other seasonal juice. in spring, we use apple juice with frozen rasperries.
3-minute-ice-cream
you will need a good blender for this. add 2 ripe bananas (ripe to ensure the sweetness of the “ice cream”) and frozen forrest fruits. blend until smooth. we hardly use measurements in our kitchen. we estimate and adapt to taste.
you can vary this fruit “ice cream” with different frozen fruits – the constant should be the ripe bananas to ensure the smoothness and the sweetness of this dessert.
vanilla yoghurt smoothie
mamajon is absolutely addicted to this mix. in fact i have it more than once a week
our local supermarket offers a variety of yoghurt – i buy 1 litre of sugar free vanilla yoghurt and i blend it with any fresh or frozen fruits i may have in the kitchen/fridge/freezer. a sure winner.
papajon’s crêpes
2 eggs, 3dl milk, 75g flour, 10 g margerine/butter, pinch of salt + sugar + cardemon + cinnamon.
the eggs are mixed with the flour until texture is smooth. the melted margerine/butter and milk are added. spices+salt+sugar follow. use a crêpière if possible to make the crêpes – an old and well used frying pan does the job as well as crêpes do not like brand new pans
serve with salty or sweet toppings.
